The end sars protest which has been on for close to ten days now has had major impact on the country and the support which it received was unexpected. The protest which aims to curb the excesses of the police unit known as SARS had a huge success as it got donations from sources outside the country and within.  The protest called out the SARs unit for acting way past their boundary and for brutally killing and harassing young nigerians.  The youths all went out massively in support of the protest. Vice president Yemi Osinbajo has addressed The youths of nigeria via tweets made on twitter. He made a lengthy statement via twitter addressing the issues of the End Sars protest which has been on for ten days now.  He took to his official twitter handle to speak and address issues concerning the end sars protest. He also spoke about the Sars Unit and the experiences of young nigerian citizens in the hands of the police force. Photos below;

American singer, songwriter, actress, model and rapper Onika tanya miraj is making the top headlines once again after sending one of her fans to the block section via twitter.  The twitter user whose name is alzmaz made a tweet with a random child which she tagged as nicki minaj's baby. Nicki minaj who saw the tweet as offensive called out the twitter user saying "116k Likes. Not my baby, Not his name, imagine doing this, please delete this person's child from your page" she wrote. Moments after the reply, Nicki minaj blocked the user. Screenshot below;

The 2020 billboard award which was held in Los Angeles, California had its crazy fashion moments from celebrities in attendance. One of such is Sia. She has always been known for her signature face covering fashion which leaves most of her fans wondering why she always loves to cover her face.  She was seen rocking a pink frock gown and her signature hair do. American singer, rapper and songwriter Amala Ratna Zandile popularly known as Doja cat spoke her heart out concerning the comparisons being made between herself and Nicki minaj. The rap artist made the reveal via an interview with cosmopolitan that she doesn't mind being compared with nicki minaj. She also said it isn't something to bother about because female artist are not that much in the entertainment industry so she doesn't mind getting compared to nicki minaj. She said "You have female rappers, there are less than 600 of us, so comparisons are always going to happen. Its completely natural and I accept it. I appreciate it alot when I'm being compared to nicki minaj, I think its cool" she said Screenshot below;

The billboard music awards which was held on the 14th of october saw alot of celebrities walking home with lots of awards. The show had performance from the likes of Sia, Brandy, swea lea, Doja cat and many more.  The virtual award show was hosted by kelly clarkson who brought her own star power and it was marvelous.
