Country Director of Amnesty International Osai Ojigho has given a stern warning to the Nigerian authority via a lengthy tweet made on the official twitter handle of amnesty international USA. The director further went on to call on the Nigerian authorities to stop trying hard to cover up the incident which occurred at the lekki toll gate. In his words "The Nigerian authorites should stop trying to cover the massacre that happened at the lekki tollgate". The director also gave his words "“What happened at Lekki Toll Gate has all the traits of the Nigerian authorities’ pattern of a cover-up whenever their defense and security forces commit unlawful killings. “One week on, the Nigerian authorities still have many questions to answer: who ordered the use of lethal force on peaceful protesters?, "Why were CCTV cameras on the scene dismantled in advance? The end sars protest which has been on for close to ten days now has had major impact on the country and the support which it received was unexpected. The protest which aims to curb the excesses of the police unit known as SARS had a huge success as it got donations from sources outside the country and within.  The protest called out the SARs unit for acting way past their boundary and for brutally killing and harassing young nigerians.  The youths all went out massively in support of the protest. Vice president Yemi Osinbajo has addressed The youths of nigeria via tweets made on twitter. He made a lengthy statement via twitter addressing the issues of the End Sars protest which has been on for ten days now.  He took to his official twitter handle to speak and address issues concerning the end sars protest. He also spoke about the Sars Unit and the experiences of young nigerian citizens in the hands of the police force. Photos below;

Governor Nyesom Wike has made major reveals via his twitter handle. The river state governor took to his twitter handle to make a public notice of the river state taskforce on illegal street  and motor parks being dissolved. "The river state taskforce on illegal street trading and motor parks have been dissolved with immediate effect" Also, "The special assistant to the governor in charge of the task force, Mr bright Amaewhule has been relieved of his appointment. Former president olusegun obasanjon has fired back at his critics following the backlash which he received based on his condolence letter to late Buruji kashamu who was a former senator and factional leader of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun state. Obasanjo's Letter received so many criticism from the likes of former governors of ekiti state and lagos state; peter ayodele fayose and Bola tinubu who said his message wasn't needed. In an interview with premium times, the former president said it was ok for people to mourn every death but that the living including himself must take a lesson from the lives of those who have died.
